I am a Clinical Supervisor, Educator, and Counsellor and Art Therapist.  I teach in several teach within several graduate level art therapy and counselling training programs in Canada.  I hold a Doctor of Education in Distance Education with a research focus in how video-conferencing clinical supervision can assist counsellors working in remote, rural and northern communities to mitigate compassion fatigue risk.  Clinical supervision is a practice I am quite passionate about: I believe it is essential not only for competency and skill development but can be a great source from which to cultivate personal wellness. I have logged several hours myself both as a supervisor and recipient of this service and I believe that this has enhanced the longevity of my career. My other clinical interest includes a focus on trauma therapy. I practice Somatic Experiencing Trauma Therapy and enjoy weaving SE principals into art therapy practice.  I hold a Master of Creative Arts Therapies, a B.A. in Psychology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I support counsellors working in British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Alberta and Saskatchewan. When not working my virtual office, I am often painting in the studio or exploring hidden running trails.
